Scott Gates is President and CEO of Western Window Systems. Prior to beginning his role as president and CEO in August 2015, Scott served as the company’s president and chief operating officer following assignments as vice president and general manager and marketing director. He played a key role in growing sales over 800% over a five-year period, an increase that led to Inc. magazine naming Western Window Systems as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

As president and CEO, Scott oversees the strategic direction of the company, including delivering on record-breaking sales and overseeing growth enablers such as new products, market expansion, development of sales and marketing strategies, leadership initiatives, and development of company culture.

Scott, who joined Western Window Systems in 2011, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA from Arizona State University. In 2015 and 2017, Scott was selected for Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Select, an award celebrating the achievements of leaders that demonstrate innovation, growth, and entrepreneurial spirit. In 2015, he was named one of 30 exceptional executive MBA (EMBA) graduates from the class of 2015 by Poets & Quants, a business school news website. In 2016, Scott was selected by Professional Builder magazine as one of the nation’s top building industry leaders under the age of 40.
