Over the last 20 years, Roger Bryan had the honor of working with some of the world's largest companies in the creation of demand generation strategies for their digital marketing efforts. This includes Microsoft, Goodwill Industries, The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, Medstar Health, Intersections, as well as many others. Roger specializes in converting web visitors into paying customers at scale. He is also the founder of Enfusen.

Roger was #40 on Entrepreneur Magazines Most Influential Digital Marketers in 2016. His past companies have made INC Magazines Fastest Growing Companies in 2011, 2012, & 2013.

  • [6:14] Roger Bryan is an SEO Consultant based in Ohio and his company is RCBryan and Enfusen.
  • [9:30] His company is focused on Search Engine Optimization primarily for multi-location organizations.
  • [11:27] In 8th grade, Roger got kicked out of school for selling smoke bombs and stink bombs. He also sold drugs in his teenage years.
  • [16:58] Being in the military instilled discipline and a sense of future for Roger.
  • [20:10] After completing his tour as a marine, he got several jobs until he met his first mentor who turned him into an entrepreneur.
  • [23:18] In 2003, he started an online auto auction business and joined another auto auction in Washington DC. It looked like he was on the verge of a huge success but then something happened that led to a disaster.
  • [28:03] Roger started a company called National Charity Services, which was his biggest successful business.
  • [34:06] Owning 20% of the company and doing everything to keep the business going was his biggest professional mistake. He sold his share to his partners in order to get out of the business.
  • [38:43] He fired all his staff and replaced them with a more experienced and competent people that could form a new and better team.
  • [45:14] Roger tells the story of what really happened when he decided to sell his share and get out of the National Charity Services.
  • [48:37] When he finally got out of the National Charity Services, he went into a 6-month heavy depression.
  • [50:22] He met his wife when he signed up for a dating service called It’s Just Lunch.
  • [59:25] Building a software platform became a money pit for Roger. He put a lot of money into this project which ended up being shut down.
  • [1:08:35] Roger highly recommends this book entitled The One Thing, which is like a bible to him. He emphasizes on that one thing you’re good at and to focus on it.
