Raine Mahdi is the founder and CEO of Hawk Packaging. He has over 15 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. The industries he was involved throughout his career were in Food, Manufacturing, and Importing.

Hawk Packaging offers custom printed flexible packaging for food products, pet foods, and beauty products. Some of the packaging products they offer are stand up pouches, flat bottom bags, flat pouches, Kraft paper pouch, and spout pouch. This is their third year in the business and they expect to make about 2 million in sales this year.

  • [27:21] In 2010, Raine partnered with a friend to put up a t-shirt business. He was very much invested in the business, but it didn’t turn out well after one year.
  • [30:46] One phone call with his dad created a light bulb moment for Raine. This led him to create a dropshipping website.

  • [38:04] The dropshipping website he created was gaining some traction and he was able to make a few sales each day.
  • [41:55] After losing custody of his child, Raine decided to get a job. He gained a lot of priceless experience from the jobs he handled.
  • [50:03] His boss backed out of a deal that was promised, which prompted Raine to go out on his own and start his own business.
  • [57:23] Raine decided that he wanted to get fired from his job in order to focus more on Hawk Packaging.
