Chad Pytel is the developer, founder, and CEO of thoughtbot. He leads the day-to-day operations of thoughtbot, including human resources, hiring, and growth, and is responsible for overall strategy for the company. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Computer Science and Humanities & Arts (Drama/Theatre) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Chad has co-authored the books Rails AntiPatterns and Pro Active Record, and presented at conferences around the world. He and his wife, Rachel, live in Newton, MA with their two wonderful children, Noah and Eva.
